Douglas Electric is a FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS, and we are always proud to share our family’s good news. Recently, two of our electricians successfully participated in the regional qualification for attendance at the National Craft Championships.
Sponsored by ASSOCIATED BUILDERS & CONTRACTORS INC. (ABC), the National Craft Championships spotlights the education and training efforts of ABC and its members’ firms. Douglas Electric is a member of the Southeastern Michigan chapter of ABC, which locally sponsors events for the electrical trade.
Douglas Electric is committed to providing continuing education and SAFETY TRAINING opportunities to our team. The NATIONAL CRAFT CHAMPIONSHIPS was a great way for our electricians to further their education, and was also a chance for some friendly competition with other electrical contractors in southeast Michigan.
We were so proud to have two electricians as part of this year’s competition. Brian and Nick worked hard and took time from their personal schedules to participate. We recognized their efforts during our monthly safety meeting. Brian and Nick set a great example for other electricians to participate in similar events to build their skills and learn from others in the field.
Douglas Electric is always excited to see the commitment of our employees in events like this. We are also thankful to ABC OF SOUTHEAST MI for the time and effort they put in to the competition. We recognize the amount of effort that goes into an event like this, and their dedication to their students comes shining through.
